πƒπžπ―π¨ππ’π¨π§πšπ₯:Β Jesus never offered cheap grace or easy discipleship. When the scribe promised to follow Him anywhere, Jesus responded with stark reality: "The Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." When another wanted to bury his father first, Jesus said, "Let the dead bury their own dead." These aren't harsh words; they're honest ones. Following Christ requires us to love Him more than our comfort, our plans, and even our closest relationships. This doesn't mean neglecting responsibilities, but rather reordering our priorities so that Christ sits firmly on the throne of our hearts. Before you make promises to God, count the cost. Are you willing to follow Him when it's inconvenient? When it doesn't make sense to others? When it costs you something precious? True discipleship demands everything, but it also offers everythingβ€”the presence and power of the One who controls all things.
