Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patienceโ€”these aren't personality traits you're born with. They're garments you put on daily. Notice Paul says "put on"โ€”it's active, not passive. You wake up each morning and choose Christ's character over your natural reactions. When someone offends you, you choose patience. When wronged, you choose forgiveness. Why? Because Christ forgave you first. His grace toward you becomes the pattern for your grace toward others. Love binds all these virtues together in perfect unity. It's not about trying harder; it's about clothing yourself in Christ's nature through the Spirit's power. Today, consciously put on one of these qualities.
