Devotional Day 2: Weapons That Are Not of the Flesh

𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹:

The servant of the Lord is called to be kind, teachable, patient under wrong, and gentle toward those in opposition. These are not signs of weakness. They are marks of a warrior who has learned which weapons actually win. Fleshly contention produces heat without light. It wins arguments and loses souls. The Spirit-led contender understands that the person across from them is not the enemy but a captive of the enemy, someone who only knows what they know until truth arrives with gentleness. When your spirit settles in a heated moment rather than rises, that is not passivity. That is maturity.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: When was the last time you allowed the flesh to take over in a moment that called for the Spirit?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Before your next difficult conversation, pause and pray specifically that the Holy Spirit would govern your tone, your posture, and your patience throughout the exchange.
