Cheerful, Not Compulsory

𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋: God loves a "hilarious" giver—one marked by extreme enthusiasm, not begrudging obligation. Examine your heart when serving: Do you give with secret resentment? Do you calculate what others deserve before extending kindness? Compulsion and guilt produce joyless religion, but grace produces hilarious generosity. The cross has made you odd to this world, freed from transactional thinking. You don't serve to earn God's love—you serve because you've received it lavishly. When cooking meals, singing songs, writing checks, or offering prayers becomes drudgery, you've lost sight of grace. Let your giving flow from deep gratitude, not shallow duty. God doesn't need your reluctant offerings. He invites you into the joy of reflecting His extravagant heart. Today, give something—anything—with hilarious enthusiasm.
