Devotional Day 4 || Peace in the Storm

𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥: While the disciples panicked in the storm, Jesus slept peacefully. Their fear revealed their faith was still small; they forgot who was in the boat with them. When Jesus awoke, He didn't immediately calm the storm—He first addressed their fear. "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?" Then He spoke to the wind and waves, and they obeyed instantly. This story isn't just about Jesus controlling nature; it's about remembering who's with you when your life feels out of control. The storms will come—financial pressures, health crises, relationship troubles, grief. In these moments, remember: Jesus is in your boat. He may seem to be sleeping, but He's never absent or unaware. Before the storm calms, He wants to calm you. Your circumstances may not change immediately, but your perspective can. The same Jesus who commanded the sea commands your situation.
