We Are Living The Good News!

What does it mean to truly live the good news rather than simply proclaim it? That question sits at the heart of this powerful exploration of 1 Peter chapter 3. We are reminded that our lives as followers of Christ are not lived in a vacuum. Every interaction, every act of kindness, every moment of suffering endured with grace, is a living testimony to the reality of the gospel. The passage challenges us to consider whether the hope inside us is visible enough that someone might actually stop and ask us about it. That is a striking standard. It means our faith must be so consistent, so warm, and so genuine that it draws questions from those around us. We also wrestle honestly with the reality that living for Christ invites opposition. The world does not simply ignore truth bearers. It often resents them. Yet rather than seeing that opposition as a reason to retreat, we are called to see it as confirmation that we are on the right path, and even as a form of blessing. There is something deeply freeing about that reframe. Suffering for righteousness is not a sign that God has abandoned us. It is a sign that we are standing in the right place.
